The Details Are Handled

The Adventure Is Yours

Two decades of insider expertise.
One advisor focused on you.

From our first conversation to the moment you arrive home, every flight, transfer, and experience is handled with care.

I bring 20 years of industry knowledge and a genuine passion for the destinations I specialize in, so you travel with confidence, comfort, and the kind of insider access most travelers never find on their own.

Nothing Overlooked

The difference between a good trip and an unforgettable one is in the details. I obsess over the small things, the cabin position, the transfer timing, the dinner reservation with the right view, so nothing is left to chance.

Complexity Made Easy

International cruises, multi-destination itineraries, visa requirements, travel insurance. It’s a lot to navigate alone. I untangle it all and present you with clear, confident recommendations. Your only job is to say yes.

There When It Matters

Travel doesn’t run on business hours, and neither do I. Whether you have a question before you leave or need support mid-journey, I’m reachable and responsive wherever you are in the world.

Access Most Travelers Never Get

Twenty years in the industry means relationships and insider knowledge that matters. This translates to unique experiences that won’t appear in any guidebook.

The Destinations I Know Best

Every place I recommend is somewhere I’ve spent time.

Not a brochure. Not a sales pitch.

Just honest, first-hand knowledge.

Dramatic fiords, volcanic peaks, world-class skiing and wine. Aotearoa is a small country that feels utterly vast.

From harbor cities to ancient desert. From world-class wine country to reefs you can swim to from shore.

Ancient landscapes, extraordinary wildlife, and a continent that changes the people who visit it.

Australia

From harbor cities to ancient desert. From world-class wine country to reefs you can swim to from shore.

I grew up here. I’ve driven its coastlines, walked its national parks, and eaten (and drank) my way through its best regions. Australia rewards travelers who go beyond the obvious, and I know exactly where to take you.

Snow-capped mountains and lush green hills reflected in a calm body of water along a rocky shoreline under a partly cloudy sky.

New Zealand

Dramatic fiords, volcanic peaks, world-class skiing and wine. Aotearoa is a small country that feels utterly vast.

My partner is a Kiwi, so I know this country the way most visitors never get to. The places locals love, the lodges worth the splurge, the experiences that don’t appear in any guidebook. It’s one of the most rewarding destinations on earth for those who know where to look.

Africa

Rocky Mountain wilderness, world-class ski resorts, and cities with a warmth that surprises first-time visitors.

Whether you want to track gorillas through the Rwandan highlands, summit Kilimanjaro, or spend a week in a private safari camp in Botswana, Africa asks something of you and gives back far more. I’ll make sure every detail is in place before you go.

Canada

Rocky Mountain wilderness, world-class ski resorts, and cities with a warmth that surprises first-time visitors.

From the turquoise lakes of Banff to the ski runs of Whistler. From the vibrancy of Vancouver to the slow magic of a transcontinental train journey, Canada is best experienced with someone who understands its scale and knows how to make the most of it.

Life on the Water

There is something about a cruise that no other form of travel quite replicates.

Waking up somewhere new, with nothing to organise and everything to look forward to.

Ocean Cruising

The world’s great coastlines, iconic ports and open ocean.

The world’s great coastlines, iconic ports and open ocean. All from one floating home base.

From the Mediterranean to Alaska, the Caribbean to the South Pacific, an ocean cruise is one of the most efficient and enjoyable ways to see the world.

I work with the lines that do it best. Celebrity Cruises, Oceania, Silversea, Princess, Virgin Voyages and Royal Caribbean. I know which one is right for you, your travel style and your budget.

Not every cruise line suits every traveller, and that distinction matters.

River Cruising

A completely different pace.

River cruising is one of the most relaxed and immersive ways to travel. No sea days, no vast corridors, no getting lost on a ship with thousands of strangers.

Instead, you wake up moored in the heart of a medieval town, or alongside a vineyard, or at the edge of an ancient temple complex. The Danube, the Rhine, the Douro, the Mekong, the Nile. Each one tells a different story.

I’ll help you choose the right river, the right ship and the right time of year.

How We Plan Your Journey Together

Working with a travel advisor should feel like talking to a knowledgeable friend.

Here is what to expect.

We Start with a Conversation

Every journey begins with a free consultation, either by phone or video call, at a time that suits you. I want to understand not just where you want to go, but how you like to travel. Your pace, your preferences, the things that matter most to you and the things you’d rather avoid. The more I know, the better the trip.

No forms to fill in. No obligation.
Just a conversation

I Design Your Itinerary

Based on our conversation, I put together a detailed, personalized itinerary built around you. Not a template, not a package pulled from a catalogue. Every recommendation, the hotels, the experiences, the routing, the timing, is chosen because it is right for you specifically. I’ll walk you through it, answer every question, and refine it until it feels exactly right.

You’ll know exactly what to expect before you commit to anything.

You Travel. I Handle Everything.

Once you’re happy, I take care of every booking, every confirmation and every detail. Before you leave, I’ll make sure you have everything you need. While you’re away, I’m available if anything comes up. And when you return home, I genuinely want to hear how it went.

Your only job is to enjoy the experience.

What My Clients Say

An honest measure of my work is whether clients come back.

Most do.

“We’d talked about Australia for years but kept putting it off because it felt too big and too complicated to plan ourselves.

Adam broke it down into something that made complete sense, and then he just took care of everything.

Western Australia turned out to be one of the most extraordinary places we’ve ever been. We would never have found half of it on our own.”

— Robert & Sandra. Western Australia. First time down under.

“Africa had been on our bucket list for over a decade. We wanted to do it properly and only once, so we needed to get it right.

Adam designed a trip that combined a private safari to watch the Great Migration with five days in Cape Town.

Every single detail was handled. What struck us most was that his recommendations were genuinely personal. He clearly knew these places, not just from a catalogue.”

— David & Geoff. Africa. Safari and Cape Town combination.

“We asked Adam to plan something special for our anniversary and he delivered beyond what we imagined.

Banff and Lake Louise were stunning, but it was the smaller things he suggested that made the trip.

The specific drives, the timing of certain stops, the hotel he chose in Jasper. None of that was on any list we’d found online. We’re already talking about going back.”

— Amanda & Kellie. Canada. Rocky Mountain road trip.

YOUR ADVISOR

Meet Adam

A smiling man with short, gray hair, slight stubble, wearing a black shirt, against a white background.

I spent 17 years as a senior executive with Qantas Airways before founding Adventures By Adam. That career gave me something no travel course can teach: a genuine understanding of how the industry works, where the real value sits, and how to get things done when it matters most.

I’m a native Australian who has travelled extensively through every corner of the country I grew up in, as well as Africa, New Zealand and Canada. The destinations I specialize in are places I know personally, not products I’ve been trained to sell.

Travel has always been about connection for me. The connection between people and places, between travelers and the experiences that stay with them for life. That’s what I’m here to help you find.
